Remote Therapeutic Monitoring for Exercise and Self-Efficacy Tracking

Objective

This study aims to understand if remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM) is useful in tracking long term physical activity participation and improving self-efficacy and readiness for exercise. Participants will use their own wearable activity tracker.

Participation in this study will include:

  • Baseline and 1-year survey assessment
  • Online surveys each month
  • Linking your wearable physical activity tracker to a remote therapeutic monitoring platform.
  • Communicating with a research physical therapist in-person, via video-conference, phone or email.

Who Can Participate

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age 18-89
  • Be diagnosed with: Parkinson's Disease, Parkinsonism or Multiple Sclerosis
  • Walk without a device or only single point cane/walking stick
  • Have a smartphone

Participants cannot have a diagnosis of cognitive impairment.
